Dig Your Neighbourhood: Mission. After a year of hard work, visual arts and creative writing students of UBC, along with Lake Publishing Society, are unveiling the amazing DYN Mission package!
Open House Display at the Marmalade Cat Café- 2903 Pandosy, Kelowna, on Saturday, April 18 between 3 – 5 PM.
This year, fifteen unique items were created for the Mission neighbourhood of Kelowna, including two children’s books, a fitness guide, placemats, posters, audio walks to Mission parks, meditation cards, blank cards, and a murder mystery featuring Father Pandosy as the detective! This whole suite of cultural and artistic objects made especially for the Mission neighbourhood will delight and impress!
Everyone is welcome to enjoy the art, leaf through the books, and enjoy talking to the artists, designers, and authors, while having some tea or coffee on this April Saturday afternoon. This is a casual, drop-in event. We’d be delighted to see you.
